Dr. Raymond Daddazio has succeeded Dr. Jeremy Isenberg as President and Chief Executive Officer. He is the third person to lead the firm since its establishment in 1949.

NEW YORK - The international engineering firm of Weidlinger Associates, Inc., appointed Dr. Raymond Daddazio to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2006. Dr. Daddazio succeeds Dr. Jeremy Isenberg, who served in this role from 1993 through 2005. “We are extremely pleased to have Ray Daddazio as our new Chief Executive Officer," said Dr. Isenberg. "The board of directors was impressed with the depth of Ray’s experience. His proven leadership and passion for the company make him a natural successor."

Since 1996, Daddazio has been director of Applied Science at Weidlinger, responsible for significant contracts with the Department of Defense in the areas of shock and vibration, extreme loadings on structures, and risk assessment. Having spent the major part of his career with Weidlinger, Daddazio is committed to the firm’s growth and to preserving the firm's culture of excellence and creativity." Weidlinger’s staff has incredible technological strength. With that comes the ability to find unprecedented solutions to challenging problems and the practical experience to implement them,” commented Daddazio. He also recognizes the opportunity for Weidlinger, as an engineering firm, to lead in creating a greener and safer built environment.

Daddazio is Weidlinger's principal liaison with the government’s Technical Support Working Group’s Physical Security Program, which identifies, prioritizes, and coordinates interagency and international research and development requirements for combating terrorism. Nationally, he is working with the Department of Defense to develop and test new strategies for protection of military and civilian facilities.

As a recognized expert in the field of structural response to extreme loadings, Daddazio has published numerous technical papers on nonlinear structural analysis, low-frequency structural acoustics, structural optimization, underwater shock analysis of surface ships and submarines, and vibration control. He is a graduate of Columbia University’s Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science and a licensed professional engineer.
